Civil Rights Panel

Davidson College invites the public on Tuesday evening, February 5, to a panel discussion titled “Racism and Civil Rights Struggles in Davidson.” Panelists will be Davidson-related civil rights advocates Professor Emeritus Tony Abbott, Joe Howell ’64, President Emeritus John Kuykendall, and Leslie Brown ’68, the college’s first African American student. There is no charge to attend the presentation, which begins at 11 a.m. in the Alvarez College Union Smith 900 Room.
