Davidson College invites the public to a talk by noted University of Pennsylvania political scientist Kathleen Hall Jamieson who will present Davidson’s annual McGaw Lecture on, "How Today’s Consulting Tactics Could Have Unseated Lincoln.” Jamieson will explore whether Abraham Lincoln’s 1864 bid for re-election could have failed had he faced the attack tactics of contemporary political campaigns.
