Family Science Night featuring Harold Lee

Tuesday, Aug 20, 2013 6:00p to 8:00p
Ocean Institute Dana Point, CA

Have you noticed changes in Southern California’s tide pools in your lifetime? Do there seem to be fewer critters than there used to be? Dr. Harold Lee, Professor Emeritus from the University of Toledo, will discuss the possible relationships between climate change, pollution and declines in intertidal invertebrate communities of our tide pools. Throughout the evening students of all ages will get a chance to meet tide pool organisms and explore their world through labs and investigations.
