The Ocean Institute will host the 72-foot sailing research vessel Sea Dragon and a lecture and book signing on the Plastic Ocean, presented by Captain Charles Moore, author and founder of the Algalita Marine Research Foundation (AMRF). Sea Dragon tours will be held from both days, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Moore’s lecture and book signing will be presented Saturday, Feb. 18, 3:30 p.m.
