Smokey's House Of Bbq

Smokey's is a letdown if you are looking for excellent BBQ in Dana Point.For some unknown reason, there is no one at the door to help guide you to their cash register after entering, so they can take your order and pay BEFORE you are served.Instead, we were scolded after trying to sit down first.The next letdown was the food itself. Meats that are advertised as hot and hearty are neither. My BBQ Chicken quarter was only lukewarm with not freshly made coleslaw that was flavorless and mushy. Service was non-existent with several of the servers hanging out near the glass windows chatting among themselves.
