ZombieStomp Race

The “Zombie Stomp Race,” an obstacle course/mud race and fun run, will return to the Silver Shoe Ranch in Dalton, Georgia on Saturday, April 20, 2013. Designed to have something from the most avid athlete to families with kids of all ages, Zombie Stomp includes a 5K and 10K course and 1-mile fun run for kids. Local businesses, colleges, high schools, and churches are encouraged to create teams and participate in the fun, friendly competition. Race start times are staggered from 8:00 to 12:00 noon. In addition, the one-mile obstacle/mud fun run for kids 7 to 14 will be held at noon. All participants receive a medal and t-shirt. Trophies will be awarded to the top three women, men, teenagers and youth participants. Participants in last year’s race will receive a 20 percent discount and free t-shirt.


New additions to the race include Scenic City Multisport, a Chattanooga-based company that specializes in organizing and time tracking of races; more zombies and volunteers to help guide runners through the course; a live band and video and still cameras throughout the course to provide a live stream of video the day of the race.
