Dreams of Slaughtered Sheep
Lawson Taitte, The Dallas Morning News: Matthew Posey says his new play is “written in free verse and very Appalachian.” It is bound to be weird and original, and it may be — like some of the new works he keeps turning out for his company at Ochre House — very scary and utterly brilliant. Justin Locklear plays a young man who works at a slaughterhouse and fears going to bed because he has violent dreams. Probably you can’t count sheep to go to sleep if you spent all day killing them.
