The festival, which ran during the State Fair of Texas, will once again light up the lagoon at Fair Park starting Nov. 1 when it reopens for a second run. It features thousands of handmade lanterns in whimsical scenes, including birds and squirrels lounging on giant mushrooms and a group of human-sized ants that have formed a band. It also features the Temple of Heaven, about one-third the size of the Beijing original. Other attractions include folk art demos, a crafts market and Chinese food court.… Show more
