The holidays tend to bring a lot of pressure to the already full plates of those of us in the design world. While certificates to Chili’s might be okay for our CPA cousins to give out, our gifts call for a bit more… Show more creativity. Now, we can help each other shake that monkey off your back with AIGA DFW’s Second Annual Creative Flea in Deep Ellum.
Last year's participating artists included: Color Box Design & Letterpress Studio 204 Lunch Buddies Press Richard Koehler Design Pastime Artifacture Frames By Jewell Cathy Hadd Choca Loca Designs Creative Squall Honeycomb Print Shop And some fun stuff from our student chapters, too! AIGA DFW’s First Annual Creative Flea takes place December 15, 2011 from noon – 5pm at Life in Deep Ellum. and admission is $5 (advanced sales) and $10 at the door for members and nonmembers. Half the ticket sales will go to the public's charity of choice, and we'll also be collecting shelter and canned food donations for admission as well.
 
We'll have some great foot traffic from the neighborhood, and we're opening up ticket sales soon, so it'll be a great opportunity to meet people, sell some of your goods and get exposure, as well as support some worthy causes!
