Sheridan's

Sheridan's definitely has historical appeal. It began as "The Lakeview Inn" established in 1911 by owner Frank Szutkowski. In 1920, the old wooden structure was replaced and renamed "the Sheridan Hotel" and "Palm Gardens" tavern. In 1968 Sheridan's was remodeled and renamed "The Fountain Blue" restaurant by Norbert, the youngest of the nineteen Szutkowski children. From the beginning, the hotel and restaurant was owned and operated by the Sztukowski family. Today, the name "Sheridan's" has been resurrected by proud new owners Lee Barczak and Jane Schilz. They have completely renovated the entire building to create this stylish boutique hotel and American bistro for all to enjoy. Sheridan House is a comfortable boutique hotel featuring twelve guestrooms named and styled after our favorite wine making regions. Quality furnishings abound including beautiful pieces by Thomasville, Wesley Allen, Ethan Allen, and Palecek. Complimentary Alterra Coffee, tea and filtered water is always available to our guests. A comfortable retreat area of Sheridan House includes a charming courtyard where you can simply relax or dine alfresco around a "Ring of Fire" fountain and natural wood burning fire pit. Take advantage of our fully equipped fitness room or go for a lakeshore stroll. In the morning, our guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast entrée of their choice at Sheridan's. Owners Lee Barczak and Jane Schilz are proud of their team of talented and dedicated professionals. The unique culinary creations of Chef Jason A.
