12th annual Three Rivers Art Festival on the streets of downtown Covington on November 15th & 16th will be the showcase for 160+ artists from 25 different states. The variations
of art will be photography, original oil, acrylic, pastel, glass, pottery, jewerly, wood and many more. All items are original and hand-crafted by the artisits, who will be on site to exhibit their work. Their will be street musicians playing throughout the day, and a magnificent food court for everyone to enjoy.
Their will be a Children's Discovery Area were children of all ages can experience hands-on art activities, watch local performers on the Children's Stage, and have their face painted. There is something for everyone if you are a child at heart, or have small children, the Childrens Discovery Area will be quite fun.
Sunday November 16th, will start the morning with the Three Rivers Fun Run and 5k road race. This is family fun experience, prizes will be awarded to all age groups, and food and refreshments will follow the close of the race.
The Arts Alive Demonstration Stage, will give you the opportunity to watch artists at work, and see the magic right before your eyes. What a great way to introduce young children to the magnificent world of art, its a rare opportunity.
You can also stroll down to the Junior League Dogwood Cottage located on Kirkland and N. Columbia St., where Student Art Competition will be held. It's open to all students from St. Tammany Parish, not just talented art students. Ribbons will be awarded 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and Honorable Mention. Michelangelo Awards will be awarded by the American Society of Italian Heritage to each "Best of Show" student winner.

The Covington Three Arts Festival is a non-profit organization, whose goals are to expand and enhance St Tammany's reputation for being a Fine Art Community; and to support children's art education in the community.
