22nd Annual Mardi Gras to Feed Homeless Children

  For 22 years the Northern Kentucky Restaurant Association has hosted the Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras to Feed Homeless Children. This event is very important because the proceeds are used to feed children and their families at four local emergency shelters: Bethany House Services, Mercy Franciscan of St. John, Welcome House of Northern Kentucky and Brighton Center's Homeward Bound.Â
  This event is a special opportunity because for a $55 ticket you can sample foods and beverages from approximately… Show more 33 restaurants and 22 purveyors.  You will definitely get your money's worth and a whole lot more.  The evening will include local celebrities; Mardi Gras Queen Kit Andrews and Mardi Gras King Eddie Fingers, live New Orleans jazz by Robin Lacy and DeZydeco, stilt walkers, parade, bead throwing, masks, adult beverages, live and silent auctions, elaborate face painting and much much more.
  Purchasing your tickets from BHS will make a difference in the lives of those we serve because we receive $37 for each ticket we sell. You can participate in various ways; purchasing a ticket, becoming a sponsor at one of the many levels offered, donating an item or cash to purchase items for the live or silent auction, and volunteering to help with set up on Monday, February 11th from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. or Tuesday, February 12th from 5:30 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.Â

Please remember when purchasing your tickets online that Bethany House Services will mail you a ticket that is being used by the emergency shelters and the restaurants.  The ticket you see after you purchase your ticket is only a reciept. Tickets purchased after Saturday, February 9th will not be sent to you by mail.  Please call Debbie at 513-237-4301 to purchase tickets.  Your tickets can be picked up at the Agency Will Call.Â
