Greenwich Faces the Great War

Friday, Oct 31 12:00p to 4:00p

More dates & times (65)

This multimedia exhibition, commemorating the 100th anniversary of World War I, reveals how the war transformed life here, on the home front. Join us to find out how the war impacted what people ate and manufactured, the relief effort, daily activities and people shunned. Exhibits illustrate the diverse experiences of soldiers, volunteers and civilians, and bring to life Greenwich residents who played major roles in creating a US flying force, arms production, American Red Cross and Farmerettes.
