Lecture: WWII POWs - Stories of Tenacity and Courage

On Thursday, February 7 at 7PM, join the Coronado Historical Association in welcoming author Craig Smith to discuss his book, Counting the Days: POWs, Internees and Stragglers from WWWII in the Pacific. Smith will discuss six prisoners of war—both Japanese and allied—including their struggles to stay alive, the small daily triumphs that kept them going, and, for some, their almost miraculous survival.
Q&A and book signing will follow the lecture.
