Too Many Sopranos

Sunday, Mar 17, 2013 2:00p

Opera Project Columbus presents "Two Many Sopranos," a two-act comic opera by Edwin Penhorwood. Sung in English, the opera tells the story of four sopranos who arrive at the gates of heaven to learn from St. Peter that there is only room in the heavenly choir for one soprano. This is an operatic spoof for new and seasoned opera lovers alike. The opera features a cast of 11 Central Ohio singers accompanied on piano by Edward Bak and directed by Dione Parker Bennett, OPC Artistic Director.
