Rare book dealer and webmaster of BookTryst.com Stephen Gertz to speak to Aldus Society on May 9, 2013

Stephen Gertz, rare book dealer and Executive Director of David Brass Rare Books in Calabasas, California, will discuss 350 years of strange, unusual, eccentric and weird books in a talk entitled "From Athanasius Kircher to Ashton Kutcher." Mr. Gertz is also Chair of the Southern California Chapter of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America (A.B.A.A.) This program will be on Thursday, May 9, 2013, at the Thurber Center, 91 Jefferson Avenue, Columbus, OH, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Pre-program socializing begins at 7:00 p.m. and allows members and guests time to discuss their latest bibliophilic adventures.
