The Center for Deployment Psychology UC4e -- Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE)
This training is a follow-on to the Center for Deployment Psychology's University Counseling Center Core Competency (UC4) "Service Members and Veterans on Campus" program held at over 40 campuses over the past several years. $20 Conference Fee
The training, materials, treatment manuals, and continuing education credits are provided at no cost to attendees, and registration to attend the event is free. However, there is a $20 conference fee that will be collected at the door. Continental breakfast and a snack break will be provided each day. This payment will be collected at registration, and payment will be accepted by check or money order only, payable to The Ohio State University.
Continuing Education Credits
NEW: Professional-level psychologists, social workers, and counselors will receive 13 CEUs upon completion of the training. Full check-in and check-out each day are required. Check-in will begin at 8:00am, and the presentation will begin promptly at 8:30am and end at 5:00pm, with breaks provided throughout the day. CEUs for partial participation will not be awarded.

Participant Eligibility
This training is intended primarily for university-based mental health providers, and seating is limited. In order to attend this training event, attendees must meet the following criteria :
- You must be working in a clinical capacity (e.g. psychologist, social worker, counselor, intern, extern, etc.), and
- You must have previously attended the CDP University Counseling Center Core Competency (UC4) course, or be a current clinical trainee/staff member at a university that has previously hosted the training.
- If you are a provider in the local community not employed by a university/college, you must have previously attended a CDP UC4 training at a hosting institution AND be endorsed by a Counseling Center Director, Clinical Coordinator, or other similar Counseling Center staff of a university that has previously hosted the training. You will be required to provide the name and contact information of your endorser, and this individual will be contacted for verification.
APRIL 22 UPDATE : Per registration guidelines, registration for this event is now open for any civilian mental healthcare provider on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached. There will be no on-site registration allowed under any circumstances. Final registration will close at 5:00pm Pacific Time on Friday, April 26. No exceptions or accommodations for registration will be made after this date.
NOTE: If you are a clinical provider but have no previous training with the CDP UC4 or any affiliation with a UC4 hosting institution and you wish to participate, you will only be eligible for this training after registration has closed to eligible participants and space allows. If space is available following the registration closing date of April 19, registration will then be reopened to allow for registration of any clinical mental healthcare provider during the period between April 22 - April 26. Participation in this training will then be honored on a first-come, first-served basis until room capacity is reached.
On-site registration will not be available.
Hotel Accommodations
Hotel and lodging costs are not included in conference registration. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hyatt Place for arrival on May 7 and departure on May 9. The a room rate is $119.00 a night (plus tax rate of 16.75%) with transportation service available from the hotel to the Union. Free parking is also available. Rooms are a mix of double and king beds. All rooms have pull-out sofas and vanities located outside of the restroom area.
