Welcome to Southie, a Boston neighborhood where a night on the town means a few rounds of bingo, and where this month’s paycheck covers last month’s bills. Margie Walsh, a middle-aged single mother, has just been fired from her meager job at a dollar store. Desperate and out of options, Margie hits up an old boyfriend who’s made it out of Southie. But when pasts are revealed, and they push each other to their limits, we’ll discover whether or not they really are good people.
