Sacrifice + Bliss: Aurora Robson
September 9, 2012-April 28, 2013
An advocate for plastic pollution awareness, artist Aurora Robson uses discarded materials, primarily plastic bottles, excess packaging and junk mail, to create intricate, vibrant art with a message.
This first exhibition of Robson’s work in a botanical setting features nine large-scale sculptures displayed within the Conservatory’s plant collections, with paintings, collages, and smaller works on view in the Cardinal Health Gallery.
