Historic Columbia Foundation's 50th Birthday Bash!

In 1961 individual and corporate donors from across the city and region joined forces to save the Ainsley Hall House, which was under threat of demolition. These 265 "founding members" each contributed $1,000 towards the purchase of the building we know today at the Robert Mills House. This grassroots movement 50 years ago led to the establishment of Historic Columbia Foundation. Come celebrate with Historic Columbia on November 9 for an evening under the tented grounds at the Robert Mills House & Gardens. This grand party will provide an evening filled with fabulous food, dancing, antique cars, music, silent auction & retro cocktails. Come decked out in your vintage early 1960s evening wear, the evening will surely delight. Ticket and auction sales will offset event costs and any net gain will support upcoming programs and events for Historic Columbia Foundation. Dress is cocktail attire. Must be 21 to attend.
