Cheyenne Mountain Zoo’s new exhibit, Encounter Africa, will be open for a Work-in-Progress Preview March 15 through April 30, 2013. Guests will have the opportunity to see our elephants and black rhino acclimate to their outdoor exhibit, take photos with life-sized elephant sculptures and discover all the new features of the elephant barn. Be sure to plan to come back after our grand opening on May 1, when details like waterfalls, pools, landscaping, and behavior shows will all be ready to go.
