To Help Make a Difference in Our Community!

We all have the potential to be LIFE SAVERS if we take just 10 minutes to learn a very simple technique that can help a person suffering from Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA.) SCA is the leading cause of death in the United States, and 80% of Sudden Cardiac Arrests occur outside of the hospital setting, which means that FAST ACTION from bystanders is the best… Show more chance for survival.

Hands-Only CPR is just two simple steps to save a life:
#1: Call 9-1-1. #2: Push Hard & Fast (in the center of the chest.)

The El Paso-Teller 911 Authority has partnered with Academy School District #20, and Chapel Hills Mall to provide FREE Hands-Only CPR training in February. As an added incentive, Chapel Hills Mall will provide a lunch party to the middle school class and the high school class that has the most people who participate in the training. “Ballots” will be available at the training sessions so participants can “vote” to represent their favorite teacher.

We have a very big goal -- to train 1,000 people in February – so please, mark your calendar and share this with friends, family, neighbors and coworkers – the training sessions are open to everyone in the community age 6 or older.

Saturday 2/16/13
11:00am --- 2:00pm
**Sessions will begin every 15 minutes

Participants will learn the skills for Hands-only CPR. This is not a certification course. Childcare not available.
