The FAC houses a magnificent collection of Guatemalan costumes expressing centuries of Mayan history and tradition.
Guest curator Beth Olson has created an exhibition that focuses on particular aspects of this vibrant collection, highlighting the many ways in which hand-woven rectangles wrap the bodies, braids, and bundles of Mayan culture in a tradition stretching back thousands of years.
