A Day to Equip Ministry Wives- Jan 26

 Flourish the new ministry to pastor’s wives from the North American Mission Board will host two equipping days for ministry wives. The first event will be held on Jan 26, 2013 at Vanguard Church in Colorado Springs. The second opportunity will be on Feb. 2, 2013 at Applewood Baptist Church in Wheat Ridge. The times will 9-3:30 at each location and the conference will be identical at each location.
Kathy Ferguson Litton* and Lori McDaniel* will be leading sessions directed specifically to women… Show more in the context of ministry life. You will hear the “Sacred Art of Influenceâ€* designed to remind you how powerful your influence is on your husband. As well as “The Emotionally Healthy Pastor’s Wifeâ€* to help us identify emotional snares. Plus a session entitled “ Nine Questions that May Help Your Sex Lifeâ€*.
The day will also include interactive sessions to problem solve collaboratively with other wives about the unique features of ministry life. The morning will begin with a time of worship and lunch is included. No childcare is available. The cost is $20.
Please consider bringing a ministry wife friend or other wives on your staff team.

Mike, Lori and their 3 children, have ministered in small town churches, served as Imb missionaries in Africa, and planted a church where they currently minister. Lori has a passion for training volunteer mission teams to story God’s Word and plant churches among un-reached people West Africa. She leads women’s ministry at Grace Point Church and equips women to live their faith out loud. She loves chips and salsa, collecting quotes, completing her bucket list, and being on mission around the world.

Kathy lives in Mobile Al with her husband Ed Litton in their not so normal life crafted by God. Both lost former spouses in car accidents, Rick Ferguson and Tammy Litton. Kathy served alongside Rick at Riverside Baptist Church in Denver for 11 years. She loves Colorado and understands life and ministry in our state. Twice a pastor’s wife, once a church staff member now National Consultant at North American Board Mission for Ministry to Pastors Wives.
