Mountain Metropolitan Transit Offers Transportation Training For Seniors

The City of Colorado Springs Transit Services Division, administrator of Mountain Metropolitan Transit (MMT), is offering a free public transportation training class for seniors. Older adults who can no longer drive or simply prefer not to, can benefit greatly by using public transportation to help facilitate independence and mobility. MMT’s senior bus fare is only 85 cents making it a very affordable choice.

Participants will learn trip planning tips, advantages and disadvantages of various transit options, take an actual ride on a city bus, and more.
