This is a group class for anyone interested in understanding how to get better results with their digital SLR camera, and will be especially geared towards those wanting to get better photos of people. This is a very hands-on class, where I’ll help demystify all those controls on your camera.
We’ll talk about focusing, getting correct exposure through both manual and automatic methods… Show more by understanding ISO, shutter speed and aperture, white balance, lens selection, and more. With each discussion we’ll change settings on our cameras and get practice applying each concept. No experience or prior knowledge necessary.
What to Bring:
- Digital SLR camera
- Lenses
- Camera manual
- Fully charged battery
- Plenty of space on your memory card
- Comfortable clothes since we may go outside for some of our work
Location and Directions:
We will meet in the clubhouse in my neighborhood, which is  1355 Lindenwood Grove, 80907 . Directions through Mapquest or something will get you to the general vicinity, but it's a little tricky and you'll want to read my additional info below.
From I-25 take Uintah and go EAST.
Turn left on Corona (which is the next street after the light at Wahsatch)
Go two blocks and turn RIGHT onto Columbia. (At this point you are two blocks north of Uintah, and one block east of Wahsatch).
Take your first right into the parking lot and park behind the commercial building. If there is no space available, you can also park out on the street by the  coffee   shop, which is on the corner of Corona and Columbia.
Walk into the newish neighborhood of townhouses and head away from the mountains and come to the big dark green building that looks different from all the other buildings. This is our clubhouse.
