February 24, 2012 – Pikes Peak Derby Dames, Colorado Springs' first and only women's flat
track roller derby league, will host the Slaughterhouse Derby Girls on March 10, 2012 at the Colorado Springs City
Auditorium.
The Pikes Peak Derby Dames All-Stars have already tasted victory this season at a tournament in Oregon, and are
hungry for more! The doors open at 6:00pm and the action begins at 7:00, when the All-Stars take the track against the
Slaughterhouse Derby Girls of Greeley in PPDD's first sanctioned home bout of 2012. PPDD is currently ranked 18th
while Slaughterhouse is ranked 29th in the WFTDA West Region.
Pikes Peak Derby Dames are excited that the evening will include their Third Annual St. Baldrick's Head Shave Event.
Twenty volunteers will be shaving their heads to stand in solidarity with children fighting cancer, and have been collecting
donations for this great cause. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding the most
promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives. Guests may make
donations to St. Baldrick's at the event, and donations can be made online at

General Admission tickets for the bout cost $10 in advance, $15 at the door, and kids 10 and under get in free. Presale
