2012 Friends of Scouting Breakfast

Pikes Peak Council will host the annual Friends of Scouting
Breakfast on Wednesday, March 7, 2012, 6:59 AM at the Antlers Hilton, Colorado Springs, CO.
This years keynote speaker is Mr. Ron Young an Iraqi Freedom former POW, Apache pilot and
training officer, a finalist on CBS “The Amazing Race” and Eagle Scout. Ron is currently
serving as a White House Political Appointee to Housing and Urban Development. As a speaker,

attempted escape after being shot down in Iraqi and eventual capture by Iraqi soldiers under
strong gunfire.

The Pikes Peak Council, Boy Scouts of America serves over 14,000 youth in eight counties in
