Thin Air Jazz plays a mixture of original compositions & arrangements made popular by the famous big bands that have come before it.You’ll be treated to music from the Basie Band, Woody Herman's Band, Buddy Rich's Band, & Maynard Ferguson's bebop band of the ‘50s & ‘60s. The 12-piece big band is led by composer/arranger/valvetrombonist Phil Allen. The combination of great jazz solos & great ensemble playing by the band makes every performance by Thin Air Jazz a unique jazz listening experience.
