Reverence Day aka Honoring Elderly African-Americans Day

Reverence Day aka Honoring Elderly African Americans Day is celebrated August 1 annually. The celebration will be held at Hillside Community Center on July 18,1:30-4:00pm. This event is open to senior citizens in the Hillside community. Vice Mayor Larry Small will be presenting a proclamation in celebration of this day as well. African Americans In Gerontology will be collaborating with the Iota Beta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and their Seniors on Saturday program.
