Nix selected to perform at Cowboy Ball The ProRodeo Hall of Fame announced that Jody Nix and the Texas Cowboys will be the musical act at the Cowboy Ball, July 10, the day before the 2009 ProRodeo Hall of Fame Induction at the ProRodeo Hall of Fame and Museum of the American Cowboy in Colorado Springs, Colo.
The band, based out of western Texas, plays a mixture of Western swing and traditional country music and has produced nine studio albums. Nix and his band also had the honor of playing for President George H.W. Bush at the 1989 Texas State Society Black Tie & Boots Ball.
The ball begins at 6:30 p.m., with the band set to take the stage at approximately 8:30 p.m. Tickets for the Cowboy Ball are $75 per person or $125 per couple.
