The Orphan Train in Michigan

Al and David Eicher, research historians and television producers, describe the journey of more than 12,500 orphans from the East Coast who were placed in Michigan between 1854 and 1927, using photos, video and personal histories to show what it was like to be one of the Orphan Train riders.
