A Visting Artist - Nancy Clark - Handwoven Accessories

Nancy Clark has been weaving for decades. She met a woman from New York on the Greek Isle of Naxos who taught her the art of weaving. She finds comfort in the feel of the yarn and enjoys the rhythmical sound of the shuttle, harnesses and beater. Different yarns glide through her fingers and the sound, sight and feelings all endear her to the finished garments she creates. Her pieces are luxurious to the touch and can be worn in a variety of ways. The gallery is open year round on weekends. Hours are currently 10- 5 on Saturday and 11 -5 on Sunday (closed holidays).
