Glenn Miller Festival

The Glenn Miller Festival honors the music of Glenn Miller and the Big Bands. There are museum displays by the Univ. of CO and the Glenn Miller Birthplace Society, a panel discussion by original band members and Miller authorities, a parade, a dance, two picnics, a Big Band Breakfast plus many concerts by some of the finest Big Bands from around the world. A National Vocal & Inst. Glenn Miller Scholarship Competition is held awarding $14,000.
