Edgar Heap of Birds will be giving an artist lecture, Heads Above Grass: Indigenous Voices of Survival Through Public Art and Studio Expressions at the Hampton Room, Malott Commons, Scripps College as part of the Scripps College Humanities Institute Spring 2013 Lecture Series - "Music, Dance, Ritual, and Belief: Transforming Societies." This lecture is co-sponsored by the Pomona College Museum of Art.
