Today the Vic Theatre is located mid-Chicago in the Central Lake View area, an eclectic neighborhood which is home to great restaurants, theater, and shopping. The subject property contains 14,098 square feet of building area situated on a parcel of land containing 12,340 square feet. The Vic can easily accomodate 1400 people with seating for 1000. We also have in-house lighting, sound, complete crew capabilities, easy load-in, and we are a Ticketmaster outlet. The theatre is easily accessible by public transportation.

Anthony Jeselnik’s dark sense of humor, devilish charm and brilliant writing have made him a hit on the alternative comedy scene. The comic made No. 6 of 20 top comedians in Comedy Central’s “Stand-Up Showdown” and was named one of Variety’s “10 Comics To Watch” (2008)....
The gifted young comedian Patton Oswalt first carved a name for himself as a bit player in television programs, where he seemingly made the perfect everyman. Even those who fail to recognize the comic's agnomen doubtless encountered him as early as the mid- to late '90s, on such hit programs as NewsRadio, Dr....
Actor Nick Offerman honed an immediately identifiable image — that of a rugged, imposing presence with an unmistakably menacing onscreen aura, occasionally tempered by nuttiness — and parlayed it into a long string of offbeat characterizations....
Keane's piano-driven pop/rock is created by vocalist Tom Chaplin, drummer Richard Hughes, and pianist Tim Rice-Oxley, three childhood friends from the small town of Battle in East Sussex, England. Formed in 1997, the group started out as a college-aged cover band....
A genre- and gender-defying mix of rock, pop, and dance inspired by burlesque, drag queens, and glam rock, New York's Scissor Sisters made a splash in late 2003/early 2004 with their neon-bright reimagining of Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb," the B-side to the band's first single, "Electrobix....
With a host of real-life songs and lilting vocals that reflect a passion for his influences (particularly Van Morrison, Leonard Cohen, and Bob Dylan), Glen Hansard is best known for his work with the Frames and the Swell Season....
Eight years into their career, the Hives rose from garage rock stalwarts to one of the trendiest bands of the early 2000s, along with the Strokes and the White Stripes. Mixing arty contrivances such as a strict black-and-white dress code and the guidance of a (possibly imaginary) Svengali named Randy Fitzsimmons with Stooges-inspired rock, the Hives -- Nicholaus Arson, Chris Dangerous, Dr....
Bethany Cosentino was no stranger to the stage when she began working on recordings with bandmate Bobb Bruno under the name Best Coast in 2009. A former child actress, Cosentino had started writing songs in her teens, and had garnered a strong online following by the time she was 17 thanks to a handful of squeaky-clean pop tunes she made available on her MySpace page under the nom de teen pop Bethany Sharayah....
A folkie in punk's clothing, Ani DiFranco battled successfully against the Goliath of corporate rock to emerge as one of the most influential and inspirational cult heroines of the 1990s. A resolute follower of D....
Before launching his career as an acoustic singer/songwriter, Ben Howard grew up in South Devon, England, where his mother’s collection of folk records helped instill a love for Joni Mitchell, Donovan, and Richie Havens....
