Civic Opera House

Located in the heart of downtown Chicago, the Civic Opera House (home to the Lyric Opera) is a hybrid of Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles and is considered to be one of the world's most beautiful. Built in 1929 and recently restored to its original splendor, it not only boasts gracious surroundings, but excellent sight lines and premium acoustics.
Home to the world renowned Lyric Opera of Chicago, it has played host to numerous Broadway shows including Sunset Boulevard and The Phantom of the Opera, as well as celebrated musical artists ranging from Björk to Frank Sinatra. This multifaceted venue is also suited for private parties and social gatherings.
