A completely new story inspired by Johann von Goethe's tragic play Faust. The Carnies is set in a modern American city, and follows Raja Vrees and his odd group of carnival minions. The relationship between Raja and a mysterious character Dr. Flotsam, take unexpected turns and twists as The Carnies travel from one town to the next. The performance follows multiple storylines of love lost, coercion and greed in the life of this compelling group.
