A new monthly arts program, Logan Center Family Saturdays offers family-friendly matinee performances and interactive workshops (for ages 2-14) presented in partnership with local artists, arts organizations, and student organizations. The new monthly program begins January 12, 2012. The Logan Center is located at 60th Street and Drexel Avenue (915 East 60th Street), Chicago, IL. Drawing Workshop for Young People 2 pm, Visual Arts Classroom 401 Makin' a Scene! Improv Workshop with University of Chicago's Theater and Performance Studies Department 3 pm, Classroom 701 Capacity: 10 children. Camp DJ with Master Mix Academy 3 pm, Classroom 802 Capacity: 20-25 parents and kids. Storytelling Workshop 3 pm, Performance Penthouse No matinee is scheduled for January 12.
