Altered Art Book Show--The 23rd Atmosphere Group Gallery

It is with great pleasure that we bring this group of artists together for this exciting and edifying show. Darek Piech, Robert Furman, Lucinda Chapman, Mathew Hall and Robert Henry Mutterson II physically alter and incorporate books into their works of art.

While some see the “rejiggering” of books as a serious transgression of the social contract, these artists point out no viable book was harmed in their creations. They have afforded these books a transmutation into second life.
