Hide and Seek

Hide and Seek offers a new approach to audience engagement. Through installations, signs, listening devices, and sculptures, the MCA encourages the viewer to reconsider what defines true art. The works of art are positioned outside of the galleries in unexpected locations to challenge viewers’ expectations and ideas of what art truly is. Visitors may obtain a guide at the admissions desk containing a series of clues that lead to the art “scavenger hunt” throughout the museum.
