It Is What It Is is a nonpartisan and unscripted public conversation about Iraq by British artist Jeremy Deller including a revolving cast of those who have expertise in a particular aspect of the region and/or first-hand experience taking up residence in the museum gallery space with the purpose of encouraging discussion with visitors. Display includes the remnant of a car that was destroyed in an explosion.
