Cuatro Festival Puerto Rican Arts Alliance

The Puerto Rican Arts Alliance proudly announces that it will be presenting its 11th Cuatro Festival This event has grown to be the largest indoor Puerto Rican cultural event in the Midwest, drawing a total audience of over 6,000. This popular event, supported in part by the Harris Theater, begins with a series of educational workshops entitled, "The Presence of Cuatro," where some of the artists perform for local schools and community centers. The highlight of the festival is this opening performance by the 30-piece Chicago Cuatro Orchestra, where some of PRAA most accomplished students perform. This year's Cuatro Festival is expected to feature the traditional folk music of Puerto Rico by some of the most seasoned Cuatristas!
