The Summer Institute of Boston College's School of Theology and Ministry announces a celebration of St. Mary Magdalene on her feast day, July 22, 2009, beginning with Mass at 12:15 pm in the Lannon Chapel of St. Ignatius Church (corner of Commonwealth and Thomas More Drive). Mass will be followed by lunch in the Murray Room, Yawkey Center (lower campus), including a display of art portraying true and false images of Mary Magdalene, and then a presentation/conversation with Dr. Madeleine Boucher,… Show more PhD. Professor Boucher is a renowned New Testament scholar, founder and former Director of the Women's Studies Program at Fordham University, whose lifetime research has had a special focus on Mary Magdalene.
