"The beauty of Italian food is in its simplicity,” says Joseph Palombo. He believes in using only the freshest ingredients in his cooking, frequently turning to local farmers for just picked freshness. He prefers using sea salt, light stocks and purees, extra virgin olive oil, and fresh herbs. (note: BYOB)

Whenever I'm in the Cherry Hill NJ area on business, this place is a must, it's my favorite restaurant anywhere! Their calimari appetizer is the best, always perfect, easily more than enough for two. They have mastered the art of cooking scallops. From fresh local fish to chicken to pork, I've always walked out very happy. Everything they make is fresh, perfectly prepared, reasonably priced. If Gordon Ramsey ever came here, he'd leave disappointed - he'd have NOTHING to complain about. The food, the service, the cleanliness, it's always been perfect. (I've been here more than a dozen times between early summer of 2007 to my latest visit in March 2008.) I've been lucky enough to catch a recent "Taste of NJ" where the chef puts on a very special menu using local available product. It's like the best gastronomic dream I could ever have.
