Chassell Strawberry Festival

The festival was originally celebrated in 1948 to recognize the significance of the strawberry in Chassell's economy. Today, through the sale of strawberry shortcake and a fish dinner, it generates funds for charitable and civic projects undertaken by the Lions club. It is a family oriented event which includes a parade, children's parade and games, horse-drawn wagon rides, fasion, quilt, and craft shows, a dance, and queen pageant.
5,000 attendees expected.
