Lee Hall: A Survey
A survey of paintings and works on paper by Lexington, North Carolina native Lee Hall. An artist, educator and writer, Hall’s paintings are poetic landscapes, many deriving from the tradition of abstractions produced by meditations on nature. Lee Hall served as President of the Rhode Island School of Design from 1975-1983 and is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including the Childe Hassam Purchase award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters in 1977.
