Great Natives for the Home Landscape with Dr. Larry Mellichamp

Dr. Mellichamp will teach you about wonderful natives that are relatively unknown and underutilized,
but that do well in our area based on the experiences at UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens where he is director and Professor of Botany. Included are chalk maple, Alabama croton, heat-tolerant ostrich fern, Carolina hemlock, big-leaf magnolia, shooting-star, seashore mallow, spruce pine, & the new hybrid mountain Gordlinia.
