Bank of America Stadium

A state of the art facility built in 1996, Bank of America Stadium has directed every aspect towards the fans. The 72,500 - seat, open-air, natural grass stadium has been specifically designed for football by HOK Sports Facilities group of Kansas City which designed Miami's Joe Robbie Stadium and Baltimore's Camden Yards. The stadium is located on 33 acres of land in Uptown Charlotte. This Uptown location utilizes 27,000 existing parking spaces with easy access to over 4,500 hotel rooms in the immediate vicinity. Over fifty restaurants are within walking distance of the stadium site. The stadium includes 137 luxury suites and over 10,900 club seats, and every seat possesses excellent sight lines for viewing. The latest technology available in sound and video replay has been incorporated in the sound system and two very large scoreboards at each end of the stadium. The scoreboards will have both high resolution color replay and black and white animation systems.
