Robert's of Charleston has been family owned and operated for over 30 years. Tucked back on East Bay Street, you are greeted with grand piano music and Robert's artwork silhouetting the cozy sunset-shaded walls. Guests embark on an extraordinary well-planned prix-fixe 5 course dinner. Carefully chosen wine by Sommelier Joe Raya is plentifully poured throughout the evening and hot bread that is made daily by Chef MariElena Raya is served. Guests first enjoy housemade pate and a selection of artisan cheeses. Talented vocalists emerge singing, "Food Glorious Food" and personally greet every table. Guests dine on such fare as a delicate warm Sea Scallop Mousse with Coconut Lobster Sauce, and a light salad with a Goat Cheese and Pear Turnover. Guests choose between three entrée dishes, the Grilled Beef Tenderloin with a Foie Gras Demi Glace, Steamed Local Grouper with a Tomato Mushroom Broth, or a Roasted Breast of Duckling with a Fig Balsamic Glaze. A decadent Chocolate Torte to finish.
